Dit is Disney: Oudejaarsavond 1988 met Irene Moors (scenes uit Hoorn)
“Dit is Disney” aflevering nummer 66 “Oudejaarsspecial” van 31 december 1988. Presentatrice Irene Moors neemt ons mee naar Hoorn (Noord-Holland) voor een aflevering rond het thema “tijd”. Goofy heeft alle klokken van Hoorn verkeerd gezet, dus hoe weten de inwoners van Hoorn nu wanneer het nieuwe jaar begint? Gelukkig leert Irene Goofy alles over de tijd en hoe klokken werken, zodat Goofy de klokken kan repareren. Daarna krijgen ze gezelschap van Mickey Mouse en Donald Duck om oudejaarsavond 1988/1989 te vieren.
De Nederlandse omroep NCRV verwierf in 1995 de rechten om Disney (korte) films uit te zenden, vóór de definitieve overeenkomst voor de oprichting van Euro Disney en vóór de Disney Renaissance. De show was daarom gericht op de klassieke (korte) films en op Disney-geschiedenis. En hoewel er officiële Disney-personages in de show verschijnen, leken de makers wat meer creatieve vrijheden te hebben dan je vandaag zou verwachten bij het maken van een Disney-show.
Deze aflevering is van 31 december 1988 en werd oorspronkelijk uitgezonden op Nederland 1.
