Dirk de Bruin uit Hoorn is op raadselachtige wijze doorgedrongen tot de audities van Popstars. De prestatie van Dirk wordt niet erg gewaardeerd door de jury. Mevrouw H.C.M. de Bruin-Nieman weet wel waarom haar zoon Dirk niet laat zien wat hij eigenlijk kan ….. de zenuwen hè.
